Alumini

Alumni Association

There is a Alumni Association that contributes significantly to the development of the institution through financial and/or other support services.

Objectives

The Alumni Association acts as a link between the “Alma Mater” and the “Alumni”. It is moving ahead, with selfless intentions for the growth and development of the institute and the students. The association provides a platform for interaction between alumni, present students, faculty of the institute and institute administration. It has contributed significantly through financial and non-financial means during the last five years to improve the facilities and infrastructure of the college with the help of the active participation of the alumni. In each session of the academic calendar there is a meeting of the alumni association wherein valuable suggestions are sought from the alumni members and action is taken upon valuable inputs. However, the fundamental problem in India is that the Alumni after graduation do not feel connected in any way with his Alma-mater. Colleges need to engage their alumni in a more responsible manner. The Alumni will donate or contribute to the college only if they feel a connection to the college.

Structure

In our College the Alumni association comprises of a President, General Secretary, treasurer and executive council. The association meets each year and necessary additions and deletions are carried out in its structure to make the body more efficient and effective.
