Meeting 5:-July 22, 2014

Following members were present:

Principal formally welcomed the members and highlighted the importance of the IQAC for the effective functioning of an institution.
Following points were discussed:
1. Plans for development of basic infrastructure/ lecture rooms/ playground/conference room etc. were discussed.
2. For enrichment of classrooms, all the departments were asked to submit their requirements for furniture.
3. To promote use of ICT for teaching and learning process, smart boards and laptops were given to some departments.
4. As per the demand of students and staff, it was decided that all the departments will be equipped with water purifiers.

Meeting 6:-Nov 15, 2014

2. Various Departments presented their reports on the activities carried out in this academic session and constitution of departmental councils.
3. It was decided to identify slow learners in every programme and all departments were instructed to display Internal assessment marks on the Departmental Notice Board.

Meeting 7:-March 01, 2015

Following points were discussed:
1. Minutes of previous meeting were confirmed.
2. For progress of slow learners, mentorship for PG students was discussed.
3. It was decided that all the faculty members will have to provide lecture handouts prior to classes.
4. After completion of syllabus, It was decided to provide question banks according to revised examination pattern.

1. Plan for Digitalization of the Library was reviewed and provision of funds for the same was discussed.
2. It was decided to encourage students to use Online learning resources like NPTEL etc.
3. All the departments were advised to send assignments through emails.
4. All the faculty members were encouraged for research collaborations.

2. Demands for PG programs in Zoology, Botany and Commerce were discussed and necessary proposals were conveyed to higher authorities.
3. It was decided to encourage ICT enabled teaching.

2. With due permission from the chair, it was decided to start the remedial classes from the next session.
3. A one day work shop on "teaching methodologies " to be conducted on the use ICT in classroom.
4. To ensure completion of syllabus and to comply with NAAC guidelines members suggested that lesson plan and work diary should be maintained by all departments

Meeting 12:-May 28, 2016

2. Principal informed the committee that M.Sc. in Botany & Zoology and M.Com. Courses affiliation has been granted.
3. Community awareness program through NSS on “Knowledge is Power ” was commended by the committee.
4. Procurement of e-books with the departments was initiated. 5. Various Departments presented their reports on the activities carried out in this academic session and constitution of departmental councils. 6. It was proposed that Capacity Building Classes will be taken.

1. For facilitating online admission, preparation has to be done. For this purpose a training workshop for students, faculty members and staff is proposed.
2. Plans for development of basic infrastructure/ lecture rooms/ playground/conference room etc. were discussed.
3. It was decided to start the process for renovation of college canteen.
4. It was agreed upon facilitation of interactive lecturing through ICT.

3. Purchase of new books as per the revised semester system in UG classes was discussed.
4. It was decided to conduct a one day workshop on Environmental awareness under Zoology department.
5. A proposal for PG in Music and UG in Home Science was sent.

2. A committee was constituted for planning expenditure against UGC block grant to college.
3. It was decided to connect all the departments through internet.
4. The college received an e-board under RUSA and ICT facilities were enriched.

5. Renovation of canteen was completed.
6. All the departments were connected through internet.
7. Consolidated College magazine (2012-2018) was planned to be published next year.

1. Plan for Campus development and beautification was discussed and proposal was sent to higher authority.
2. A proposal was sent to RUSA for making EDU-SAT operationalized.
3. Digitalization of library was started.
4. It was decided to make separate toilets for girls.
